About OrthoPaws

Custom orthotics and prosthetics for animals of all kinds, in partnership with the veterinarians who care for them.

OrthoPaws is a veterinary orthotics and prosthetics provider serving pet owners and veterinary practices worldwide, with a dedicated facility in Palm Harbor, Florida for in-person fittings and castings when needed.

We work with dogs, cats, and other animals including goats, pigs, horses and llamas.

Why OrthoPaws exists

Vet school covers medical and surgical management in depth. Orthotics and prosthetics barely comes up, and even experienced vets may see only a handful of applicable cases a year.

Families often find out about custom devices only after a diagnosis, a surgery quote, or an over-the-counter brace that did not help.

OrthoPaws exists to make custom devices easy to reach. We work with veterinarians and pet families to decide whether a device is the right step for a patient, then see the case through: candidacy, device selection, fabrication, fitting, and follow-up.

What OrthoPaws brings

For Pet Parents

A custom device can be an alternative to surgery, a complement to it, or part of recovery after it. Families know what to expect before any visit: which device is recommended for their pet’s injury or condition, how it works, and what the appointment involves. We also share how the device has helped other pets with similar conditions. OrthoPaws works alongside your veterinarian throughout.

For Vet Prodessionals & Rehab Centers

We partner with your practice so you can offer mobility solutions with confidence, backed by a partner who walks every step with you: candidacy, device selection, fabrication, fitting, and follow-up. Candidacy visits, fittings, and follow-ups bill as your own appointments. A Case Manager replies to every submitted case with observations and next steps, typically within one business day.
